Recently, I have heard many people talking about the printers and about how they will only print double sided. The new printers do this by default and need to be specifically configured to print single-sided.

  1. In order to do this, go into Word, Adobe, or any similar application that you are using. Bring up the Print dialog box. You will see a link called Printer Properties.

  2. After this is done, you will get to a page similar to this:

  3. After you get here, in the lower left-hand corner of the window, you see the "2-sided printing section" in which you can select the 1-sided option.

  4.  This will override the default double-sided printing option.
